在英语中，shortweight 是一个形容词，意思是“不足的”、“不够的”或者“重量不足的”。它通常用来描述某物的重量或数量没有达到预期标准。

比如：如果一个包裹的重量比标注重量少了，就可以说这个包裹是 shortweight。

在日常生活中，这个词可能不太常见，但在物流、贸易或质量检查中会经常出现。

很多人可能会把 shortweight 和 shortage 混淆。其实 shortage 更常用于表示“短缺”，而 shortweight 则更偏向于“重量不足”的情况。

另外，注意不要把它和 short-witted（反应迟钝）搞混哦，这两个词完全不相关！
