Scientist refers to a person who is studying or has expert knowledge in one or more of the natural or physical sciences.
The term "scientist" was first coined in 1833 by William Whewell.
Types of scientists include:
1. Physicist - studies matter and energy
2. Chemist - studies substances and their properties
3. Biologist - studies living organisms
4. Astronomer - studies celestial objects
5. Geologist - studies the Earth
